For Primary and Secondary School Teachers: Techniques that will help you not to burnout 

Alarming rates of Burnout and Chronic Stress amongst Primary and Post Primary Principals and Deputy Principals have been reported and researched in the last two to three years.

This Two Part Restorative Circle work Practical and Experiential Intentional Seminar has been created to support any school  Principal or Deputy Principal who wants to avoid the effects of burnout and chronic stress in their role within their schools by developing a Restorative Approach in their own Role and then cultivating Restorative Practice within their schools. .

Circle Day One –  Putting On My Oxygen Mask – April 25th, 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m

• Beginning with me – What is Restorative Practice and how can it support me in my role. Putting on My Oxygen Mask  – Managing Me, My Stress Levels and My Nervous System.
• Managing my Professional Relationships Restoratively.
• Nuturing Me – My Wellbeing – Restorative Wellbeing Strategies, Restorative Mindfulness, Staying Grounded, Breathwork.

Online Reinforcement & Support Sessions between Circle Days

20 May, 10 June & 16 September Zoom meeting 7-8.30 pm

Circle Day Two –Spreading the Message –  October 17th – 9.30 a.m to 5.00 pm

• Building a Restorative School Culture – Managing Power Healthily
• Setting the Restorative Tone for Restorative Teacher /Student Relationships.
• Nuturing Me – Restorative Mindfulness – My Wellbeing and School Wellbeing, meditation, breathwork, exercise.
• Beginning to put Practice into Policy and Procedure.
